As my Disney College Program comes to an end (three weeks left), I have been thinking a lot about what this program has done for me. I know people will ask me, "How was it?"
I wanted to have a good answer.

So here it goes:

I’ve been called many things on this internship—the root of all evil, clueless, scumbag, bitch, inconsiderate, unorganized…you get the idea. I’ve been sworn at, yelled at, even screamed at by an angry mob. I’ve had to clean up vomit and various other protien spills. I’ve had to deal with frustrating coworkers. I’ve answered some of the stupidest questions I have ever heard in my life.
Was it worth it?
Absolutely.
I have heard stupid questions; I’ve heard innocent ones as well. I have worked with some of the most interesting, wonderful people in existence, and made lifelong friendships. I cleaned up hundreds of messes and in turn grew up a little, learning more and more about the responsibilities of an independent life. People have yelled at me, but people have also hugged me, shaken my hand, and touched my shoulder in gratitude. Sometimes they even took a picture with me. I have heard my fair share of nastiness, but I also have been called a savior, a saint, a miracle worker, and a magic maker.
Was this internship worth it?
I wouldn’t trade my experience here for anything in the world.
It has been nothing short of life changing. I am a different, better person because of it. Though I look forward to not dealing with the stress of angry guests for a long time, I will treasure my time spent here at WDW for years to come. It was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I am grateful for the honor of having participated in this program.

That being said, I am looking forward to coming home to Colorado and seeing my family and friends again. I also really missed having straight hair, so that will be a bonus. Sorry it has been a while since I've posted--I'll start up again when i get home. As always, thank you for watching, and I hope you all are doing well. If you have any questions about the Disney College Program or my experience, feel free to ask!
